Keeping your home in sanity does not require much of your time or even tons of your money, it only takes a little bit of practice and the right attitude to make it as your lifestyle. Begin with these steps that will make cleaning and organizing chores like a piece of cake.

1. Clean Up
Always start with cleaning the area you want to begin with. Bedrooms could be the first room you have in mind because it is where you find your rest and see yourself in peace. Finding your rest with clutters around you causes interruption, or distractions that will soon lead to stress. Cleaning might be a weight but it’s the only way to switch your place into anew. Grab those cleaning materials and say goodbye to your dust collection.

2. Allocations
There is a place for everything. Organize your items by sorting them by their use, purpose, and function. Some are very particular with color coding –it is where you arrange things according to colors. It is effectively applied for clothes, shoes, bags and other wearable items. Start with large items up to the small things, this will make decluttering faster.

3. Defining Need
This is the step where you decide these three things; what to keep, what to give and what to throw.
Keep items that you use every day. Give things that you do not use anymore or those products that are kept in silent. These are the stuffs that you bought but do not use either. Throw away unnecessary belongings that stressed you out or give you depression. Pile up things you can let go. This necessary clearing step will give you a new perspective and peace of mind.

4. Make it done
Do not leave the room until it’s the cleaning is over. Scheduling allotted time for this task is effective. Require yourself to finish your chore. It begins within you. Wanting something to be done quickly will achieve quick results.
5. Maintain
Who would not want to maintain the clean and neat place you have done?.. Once you got the task complete, you will manage to maintain it. The more organize you are the more it reflects to your home.

3. Layered Storage
Pile up your magazines, books and other stuff to an organizer. Place nametags on each layer storage or drawers to keep it neat. It will also help you find your stuff quickly.

4. Minimalist chairs and tables
You don’t have to purchase a 6-seater dining set on your pad unless there’s still room to breathe. Aside from having a space saver chairs and tables, it instantly gives your pad a contemporary modern look. Modern designed furniture is quite pricey but you can find potential furniture pieces from garage sales. You just have to use your creativity and do some improvements like repaint and cover ups.
