Make an Instant Chandelier with Makita Cordless Drill

A chandelier for your living room or dining area can easily spice up the sophistication of your home. From a simple centerpiece that can turn out to be a masterpiece, use your clever imaginations of what you can do to and let your Makita cordless tool help you make your ideas come to life.

I found this chandelier very interesting and quiet easy to work out. With budgeted materials yet a contemporary looking chandelier. It looks easy to create. You can also use recycled empty jars of your peanut butter or other containers that can be used for this.

What you will need. A wood for the platform base, empty jars, black cable, mason jars, lamp socket.

1. Start from drilling holes to the platform base of the chandelier to where the cable wires exactly fits. Use your Makita cordless driver drill with bits that is compatible to wood.

2. Do the wiring of the bulbs. If you are not familiar with electrical installation, get help with a friend who can do this. You can use other any color cable wire. Just make sure the wire can handle the voltage of the bulbs.

3. Clean the mason jars. You can paint them if you want to. Try experimenting.

4. If you are done with the wirings, insert it to the jars carefully one by one. You don’t have to rush. Do it gently with ease.

5. Hang the chandelier between 30 to 36 inches above from the dining table. Adjust it to where you feel comfortable.
