Minimalist homes have minimal furniture. Select the most essential pieces for your room, living room, kitchen, bathroom and shelves. Take away pieces that you don’t normally touch like excessive drawers. Choose your favorite pieces. Get good couches, a nice coffee table, dining set that is just right for the kitchen, light stands or lamps, simple frames and canvas, and selected books worth keeping. Make sure that all selected pieces are the ones you always have contact with.

4. Clear everything
After you have made your furniture selections, you can now clear all excessive things. From walls, surfaces and other stuff that gives an impression of uneasy cluttered look. Eliminate those with handy dependable DIY tools that can help you do your tasks lighter.

5. Watch your steps
Floor makes a good impression when it’s cleaned and polished. Make a revamp by polishing wood floors and cleaning those tiles. Eliminate floor clutters like sticky tapes, trapped dirt, or excess paints. Clear what you can pick as you walk through your home. Papers, toys, clips and other things can be recycled or can be simply put to trash.

6. Make it simple
Manage decorating with simple pieces. Go for plain patterns and solid colors that can spruce up your white space. Choose your favorite color that reflects your personality. Make sure that the colors complement each other and it does not hurt to the eyes.
